Our intrepid photographer, Yujiro Otsuki, is at the L.A. Auto Show, where he caught the unveiling of the hot, new Nissan 370Z and had a chance to interview one one of the designers of the new car. This new version appears to be better in every way over the outgoing 350Z. It's almost 90 pounds lighter, has a wider wheelbase, sits lower and the V6 under the swooped hood now generates 332-hp and 270 ft-lbs of torque. How's that for a good time? Starting price is just south of $30 Grand. Yes, less coin than either a Subaru STI or the Mazda RX-8.
