It was only a matter of time, but Sport Compact Car magazine is now dead. According to Autoblog, 115 were laid off yesterday and February 09 will be the final issue. Over the past few years the pages were trimmed, the print quality reduced and all that was left was a husk of it’s former glory (apologies to editor Joey Leh, you did the best you could in these conditions, dude).
With that, we shed a tear and do a big-ass burnout for one of the great tuner magazines.

I thought there had been a mistake when “Modified” came in the mail instead of the usual SCC. I’ve been a close follower and subscriber for years and SCC had a level of credability and precision I’d never found in other tuner magazines. It’s a real loss for the already struggling tuner world. Thanks for everything guys, it was one hell of a ride.
