2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara: Stranded!

Capable and fun to drive.
Not enough ground clearance.Part 2 of 2: The Driving Sports review team is stranded deep in the Mt. Baker forest. Will they be able to free the 2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara XSport V6 before darkness falls? Which of the team will be sacrificed as human ballast? Watch to find out! (Continued from Part 1)
Conclusion: In spite of our little mishap, we really enjoyed spending time in the 2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara XSport 4WD. The new motor is both capable and sporty, plus the car simply offers more features than the comparably priced Nissan Xterra or Toyota FJCruiser at the $25,000 price point.
Even though we didn’t really talk about cup holders and plastic quality you can rest assured that they’re more than adequate for this class. Overall the Grand Vitara is a great value. Only the low ground-clearance will be a hindrance to the most extreme of adventurers. And for guys like us, getting the car unstuck is all part of the adventure. Isn’t it?
