Suzuki Unveils Luxury AWD Kizashi Sport Sedan
Of all the automakers out there, I think Suzuki has the most potential to raise their profile and raise people's opinions of the brand. Their SX4 hatchback, gifted with AWD and standard GPS naviation, is a great example. Forget what you've thought about Suzuki in the past, because they're raising their game.
A few days ago, Suzuki unveiled the next step in their re-branding - the all-new Kizashi sport sedan. This car brings Suzuki into the forefront of the AWD luxury sedan market, and it's a bullet aimed right at the Subaru Legacy.
The Kizashi comes with a 2.4-liter DOHC inline four-cylinder engine mated to your choice of 6-speed manual or CVT transmission.
Suzuki's planning a press launch in the early fall, so we'll keep you up to date until we get the chance to drive one ourselves. In the meantime, here's a photo gallery of the new ride.

It seems more likely that they are trying to push in the the front wheel drive market more than the AWD. However, I do think the kizashi is going to have the base model legacy beat by a long shot legacy. The V6 legacy or GT or higher models will simply spank the kizashi. (atleast until they put in the 300hp V6)
I did find it intersting the subaru is also switching to the 6 speed manual or cvt too. It should make things intersting.
