2010 Subaru Legacy GT/3.6R

Much improved turbo response in GT. H6 is very quiet.
H6 needs 300hp. 2.5GT no longer mod-friendly.Jeff Zurschmeide already reviewed the entry level version of this car for Driving Sports, and he didn't like it very much. This is funny to me, because we're often in agreement on cars, and when in doubt, Jeff is usually the more positive reviewer. I will admit to having a soft spot for the Legacy, however, as I have owned not one, but two cars with that very badge: the first a 1992 Turbo that I rolled in Hay River, Northwest Territories, on the Alcan 5000 Rally; the other a reasonably modified 2007 GT that was my daily driver and an ongoing project for Subiesport Magazine.
It may therefore come as no surprise that, at the end of the day, I came away with a completely different impression than my associate. In this video I focus on the two upper-end models, the 2.5L turbo-powered GT and the 3.6R H6-powered tourer. Though, I was just as impressed with base 2.5i equipped with either the 6-speed manual or the wonderful new constantly-variable transmission.
