Willow Springs Raceway, CA, 10/10/09 – The GST Motorsports Time Attack Racing Team took a break from the competition and attended the annual Subiefest event to give thrill-rides to those that gave a canned food donation. With an excess of 50 laps driven, the Hankook shod GST Motorsports Impreza managed to bring in a huge haul of food for The Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.

“This weekend was the most fun I’ve had in a racecar in a long time!” said Gary Sheehan, driver for GST Motorsports. “It was a very relaxed day without the stress of competition, and we got to spend it with fellow Subaru enthusiasts. I had a blast giving rides to people around Willow Springs in our Time Attack beast. The first time that boost hits, they slam into the back of the seat with this unbelieving look on their face. It made me smile every time!”

Mike Warfield, owner and engine tuner of GST Motorsports, had this to say about the team’s day; “Seeing the facial expressions of the people getting in and out of the car really made the trip and preparation worth it. The in-car footage alone is priceless. I’m really glad we were able to bring the car out to this event to not only give back to some of the enthusiasts that have supported us, but also to raise food for a good cause.”
